BoatVision brings together two parts of Jon’s life: solving practical problems with technology and spending time on the water.

Jon has spent more than 20 years in technology leadership at AT&T, Cradlepoint, Ericsson, Motorola, and Nokia. His work has covered wireless communications, cybersecurity, connected devices, and AI that runs directly on equipment. Throughout his career, he’s worked with engineers, partners, and customers to turn complex technology into something useful.

He also served for 20 years as a volunteer firefighter and is an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, with experience in aviation and communications. That background, together with his own time boating, has shaped his respect for preparation, clear information, and sound judgment when conditions change.

At BoatVision, Jon focuses on helping boaters notice visible hazards through technology that works aboard the boat, without depending on an internet connection. He wants owners to understand both what the system offers and where its limits are.

Based in Boca Raton, Florida, Jon brings the perspective of a technology leader and a fellow boater to the company.

Mason grew up racing sailboats on the Gulf Coast and has spent nearly 20 years in and around the marine industry, personally and professionally. BoatVision brings that experience together with his work in technology partnerships and his interest in boating safety.

His background includes partnership roles with US Sailing, the U.S. Olympic Sailing Team, and IMSA, part of NASCAR. He has worked with businesses, technology companies, and sporting organizations to develop partnerships that serve their customers, athletes, and communities.

His experience in motorsports broadened his interest in how technology helps people understand changing conditions and make decisions. Combined with his sailing background, it informs the questions he brings to BoatVision and its partners.

At BoatVision, Mason works with boat builders, marine businesses, and technology partners to explore where the system can be useful. He brings longstanding relationships across the marine and yachting community and an understanding of how boaters choose and use equipment.

He wants technology like BoatVision to become accessible to more everyday boaters. His focus is on helping people understand the product, find the right fit for their boat, and feel better informed at the helm.
