Following an object across frames helps separate a persistent object from a brief or unstable detection.
Object type, position, motion, persistence, and relative movement help determine what the display should bring forward.
WHY ONBOARD EDGE COMPUTE MATTERS
Processing stays onboard, close to the live camera view. That allows BoatVision to operate without the internet, respond with very low latency, and avoid sending routine footage to the cloud for core analysis.
PERSON-IN-WATER EVALUATION
BoatVision evaluates person, water, scene, and tracking context before presenting the strongest alert. Detection is never guaranteed and can be affected by visibility, distance, camera view, sea state, and other conditions.
